After the announcement of his split-up with WINNER and talent management agency YG Entertainment, KPop idol Nam Tae Hyun expressed his apology to his supporters through a handwritten letter posted on his Instagram account on November 26.
“Hello. This is Nam Tae Hyun. I am sorry that this unfortunate news was received by people who love me. There were a lot of events during that short or long time. I was really happy when I received undeserved love as WINNER’s Nam Tae Hyun,” Nam’s letter reads as quoted by Soompi.
He added: “Although this decision was made after a long discussion, my wish to make good music has not changed and I will meet you through other music and projects. Stay healthy in this cold weather and I genuinely thank everyone who is supporting me. From Nam Tae Hyun.”
Aside from the singer, one of YG Entertainment’s renowned talents 2NE1 has also announced their disbandment and departure from the label. The reports regarding the stars’ surprising announcements have caused mixed reactions from their supporters.
In the past weeks, Nam has been posting several cryptic posts on his Instagram page. Due to this, his fans started to worry about his career.
On November 13, the Kpop star posted a photo with label “I just want to sing" accompanying it with a short caption “Yes.”, All Kpop reports. However, he later removed the said post.
Nam made his entertainment debut in 2013 after being chosen as one of the members of the boy group WINNERS. He also appeared in TV dramas including “Midnight's Girl” and “Late Night Restaurant”.
