Preview

OKC is currently on a two-game winning run to bounce back after previously losing three straight games. The team is settled at the sixth spot of the Western Conference standings at the moment, 5.5 games behind conference leaders Golden State Warriors.

The Thunder routed the Detroit Pistons, 106-88, in their most recent match last Saturday at their home court of Chesapeake Energy Arena, as per SB Nation.

Russell Westbrook fired another triple-double, his seventh of the current season, with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists to overcome a poor shooting night. He shot 8-for-22 from the field, including a 0-for-5 stint from beyond the arc.

Victor Oladipo had 18 points along with six boards and two assists while Steven Adams contributed 16 points and nine rebounds in a strong performance.

Off the bench, shooting guard Anthony Morrow top-scored for OKC with 21 points while backup center Enes Kanter had 12 points and three rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Knicks snapped a three-game winning run after getting beat by the Charlotte Hornets, 107-102, at the Time Warner Cable Arena also on Saturday night, USA Today reported.

Kristaps Porzingis top-scored for head coach Jeff Hornacek's side with 25 points. He also had six rebounds and two blocks in a losing effort.

Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose both fired 18 points while Courtney Lee netted 14 markers. Rose also had eight rebounds and eight assists in an impressive all-around performance but shot only 6-for-20 from the field.

Prediction

The Thunder are a poor road team with a 3-4 record in away games so far this season while the Knicks are 7-2 at the Garden. It would be a tight contest from start to finish, but New York will prevail in the end as they maximize their home court advantage once again. Big games from their Big Three of Anthony, Rose, and Porzingis is expected.
