ZUK's CEO recently confirmed that t ZUK Edge release date will be sometime next week. In his announcement on Weibo, Chang Cheng also shared a live image of the upcoming device.
Previous reports claim that the ZUK Edge will sport a curved display as its name is a signature of the Samsung Edge series that first introduced the curved screen. However, the latest live image straight from the company's CEO shut down rumors pertaining to its display screen. The four images revealed the render of the phone and its impressive packaging, according to GSM Arena.
With the likes of OnePlus, Xiaomi and Meizu, another China-based phone company is challenging the norms in the phone manufacturing. The aforementioned Chinese tech companies have been the game changer as they offer powerful flagship devices with an inexpensive price tag. As ZUK Edge release date is nearing its specs has been almost out and undoubtedly it will be among the top dogs.
According to the TENAA listing, the Zuk Edge will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and ZUI 2.0 skin on top of it, and 3000mAh battery. Going through the leaks, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C at the bottom left of the phone, Softpedia repported.
The ZUK Edge boasts slim bezel that makes the phone looks smaller in its size. The upcoming phone also features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display.
Underneath the flagship device will be a Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. Its internal storage has options of 64GB and 128GB. Camera-wise, it sports a 13MP rear unit and an 8MP front snapper.
Tech enthusiasts suggest that more details about ZUK Edge release date will be announced soon. The flagship phone will be first launched in China followed by its release to selected regions.
