Oklahoma City Thunder has witnessed the emergence of the legend and king of triple-double. Russell Westbrook continuously posts triple double in most of the game he played.

Westbrook posted another triple-double on Wednesday night, Nov. 30 in a 126-115 victory over the Washington Wizards. This is his 8th straight triple double in the game and the 5th winning triple-double. According to FOX Sports, sport columnist Skip Bayless said that in his entire career to cover sports news, he has never seen anything like Westbrook.

“I was extremely impressed. And I'm going to say it again — I have never seen anything like what Russell Westbrook is doing in sports right now,” Bayless said during the Fox Sports TV “Undisputed” sports talk show.

Bayless also said that even in the worst shooting night, Westbrook was still able to steal the show. In his word, the 64-year old sports writer and columnist said that Westbrook has the greenest light in the history of basketball. His light is even more greener and Stephen Curry and Kobe Bryant.

His performance throughout the season is able to bring the 12-8 records for the Thunder. They are now on the 4-winning streaks ahead the game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night, Nov. 4. Currently Thunder is on the 5th position in the Western Conference standings below Houston Rockets.

As for Westbrook, his impressive performance brings him as the serious candidate for Kia MVP this season. Analysts concludes that he exceeds other candidates James Harden. Kevin Durant. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Kawhi Leonard. His consistency is amazing as he comes to every game night continuously making scores, passing assists to teammates and grabbing the rebound over and over.

Westbrook is also on track to become the second player in the NBA history to average triple-double after Oscar Robertson in the 1961-62 season. His statistics show currently he averages 31.2 points, 11.3 assists and 10.7 rebounds.
