Hallyu star Lee Si Young has recently graced the December 3 episode of the SBS variety show “Baek Jong Won's Three Great Emperors”. During her guesting, Lee revealed the preparation that she had to do before her appearance in the program.
According to Lee, she had done extra training before the show because she wanted to try all the dishes featured on the winter foods special. Furthermore, the actress also admitted that she is a huge fan of the program.
"That's true. I watched the show a lot. Baek Jong Won explains things very well, and Kim Joon Hyun makes food look so good when he eats it,” said Lee as quoted by All Kpop.
She added: “After finding out I was a guest on 'Baek Jong Won's Three Great Emperors', I went running every day, so I can eat as much as I want."
Meanwhile, Lee was recently announced as the new host of “Baek Jong Won's Top 3 Chefs”, replacing the former MC Lee Hwi Jae who had been on the show for 1 year and 3 months. She will be joining the program’s mainstays Chef Baek Jong Won and comedian Kim Joon Hyun.
In October, the 34-year-old star was also announced to be one of the top picks in the upcoming OCN drama “The Voice”. According to a statement by a representative from the network as quoted by All Kpop: "We're casting right now for new OCN drama, 'The Voice.' We did indeed give an offer to Lee Si Young, too, but she's not confirmed yet."
Lee started her entertainment career in 2008 after her appearance in the TV procedural “Urban Legends Déjà vu”. She also appeared in the TV drama series “Boys Over Flowers” and “Loving You a Thousand Times”.
