Dwyane Wade reportedly wants the Chicago Bulls to "move on" from the latest incident concerning starting point guard Rajon Rondo.

Rondo was suspended by the Bulls for one game with the official reason as "conduct detrimental to the team". He served the suspension during Chicago's 112-110 home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers last Monday, as per Fansided.

The former Celtic reportedly had a "heated exchange" with one of the Bulls' assistant coaches, Jim Boylen, during the Bulls' 107-92 loss to the Dallas Mavericks last week.

Rondo was back in their next game on Tuesday night, which resulted in a 102-91 road defeat to the Detroit Pistons. It was the team's third straight loss as they dropped to the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference standings after being as high as no. 3.

Wade had recently addressed the issue, saying that the Bulls have to "move on" and just focus on basketball, ESPN reported.

"Let's play," said the three-time NBA champion. "He's going to have enough messages. Our job is to say, 'Let's go, let's play'."

"This is about basketball. All those things, it's not my job to stay on him about. He's been disciplined, they've talked about it, he understands and we've moved on," Wade said.

Wade was rested during the Dallas game so he was not with the team when Rondo's verbal altercation with the assistant coach happened. However, he was one of the most influential, if not the most influential, players in the team and he simply reiterated what head coach Fred Hoiberg and general manager Gar Forman had said after the incident.

Jimmy, Butler, the third part of the "Three Alphas", was also hopeful that the team will put it behind them and move forward to try and qualify for the playoffs this season.

"It's the NBA," said Butler. "He's a professional. He wants this team, this organization, these guys to be successful. He's a winner, so he's coming in with the same mentality."

"I know that he was working out today, I can tell you that. Stay in a rhythm, your groove, we need you. He knows that. And we're glad to see his face on the plane," Butler added.
