Park Shin Hye extends financial aid for the Seomun Market fire victims

South Korean superstar Park Shin Hye has once again proved her generosity as she extends her help to the victims of the Seomun Market fire.

In a report by All KPop, it was revealed by the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association that the “Doctor Crush” star has donated a sum of 50 million KRW (approximately $43,000) for the victims Seomun Market, which is considered as the largest traditional street market in Daegu, South Korea. The actress’ side has also confirmed the news through a statement from her representative.

"We didn't know about Park Shin Hye's donations but it's true that she donated 50,000,000 KRW," said the representative.

Aside from Park, it was also reported that comedian Yoo Jae Suk had also donated 50 million KRW for the fire victims secretly. According to a statement by revealed by the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association as quoted by Soompi: “We saw that a donation was made in Yoo Jae Suk’s name and called his manager to confirm that it was him. His manager was surprised as even he was not aware of the donation.”

The Seomun Market fire took place for 59 hours from November 30 to December 2. There were approximately 800 small and large vendors as well as victims who were affected by the fire. No major injuries were recorded.

Meanwhile, Park has recently posed for the latest issue of the 1st Look magazine in collaboration with the Austrian jewelry brand “Swarovski”. In the teaser shots revealed by the publication, the Hallyu star showed off her timeless beauty and elegance.

In one of the photos, Park looked stunning in her red dress while holding a glass of wine. The next image reveals the star’s dreamy look as she wears stylish “Swarovski” jewelry set.
