(Photo : Twitter/@ComicBook_Movie) Today in Brisbane, Chris Hemsworth (God of Thunder) and Tom Hiddleston (God of Mischief) are sitting in front of a newsstand which has intriguing newspapers headlines.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will reportedly have its larger than life characters join a search party for the soul gem.

The film is a full year away from its premiere date but it is shaping up to be a very important film for the phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Apparently, the film will have a tone similar to that of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." Meaning, while it may have little moments of humor, the story itself will have some high stakes involved as Thor (Chris Hemsworth) team up with Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in an adventure to save the nine realms.

Returning baddie Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will reportedly have a partner too in Cate Blanchett's Hela who helped him usurp the Throne of Asgard. In the comic books, Hela is the goddess and ruler of the spirits of the dead except for Asgardians and their human worshipers. For ages, Hela sought to bring more Asguardian souls under her control. She once stole of piece of Odin's soul and created a powerful entity called Infinity and unleashed it to the nine realms.

That threat reason enough to drive Thor, Hulk and Valkyrie in a search party for the soul gem to defeat Loki and Hela. Loki will reportedly trick his brother again and give the soul gem and the locations of other Infinity Stones to Thanos (Josh Brolin) in exchange for his own protection. Thor's friends Lady Sif, The Warriors Three and Heimdall will also return but one of them will reportedly die in the film.

While reading these plethora of information, do note that none of these had been confirmed for now. However, given that this could possibly be the ultimate glue to launch a superhero assault against Thanos in "Infinity Wars," the possibilities for this film is endless.
