The NBA regular season continues on Dec. 27 with only four games. But even with limited number of games, the league will feature some of the hottest point guards today.
Can Conley Stop Thomas?
The Boston Celtics will hold their ground against the gritty Memphis Grizzles led by Marc Gasol and Mike Conley. Leading the Celtics is Isiah Thomas who continues to amaze fantasy players with his impressive numbers while giving Boston a relatively decent standing in the East.
Isiah Thomas when they visited Memphis: 44 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds according to Yahoo Sports. He could get the same numbers as he faces Conley and the Grizzlies at home.
Anyone Stopping Westbrook?
According to Fox Sports, Miami Heat is only 5-11 at home and the number could dip further once they face Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder. The NBA leader in scoring, second in assists will bring his athleticism and impressive talent to Miami. Heat's Dragic could only hope to match him in physicality so he could probably lower his number and get the win.
It's simple really: if anyone could stop Westbrook, the Thunder lose. But getting it done in real life is an epic challenge.
Under the Radar Jazz vs. LA Lakers
The Utah Jazz is visiting the LA Lakers without George Hill. This could be a challenge for the Jazz since they will need his 20PPG against the young team who finally found their groove. The Jazz also had to struggle in their last three games with Toronto, Sacramento and Golden State - all were losses.
The only ray of hope for Utah Jazz is their well-rested roster compared to LA Lakers. Jazz could be physically ready for more grind with a four-day rest while the Lakers only had a day to recuperate.
