It will be an exciting "2016 KBS Gayo Festival" as Taemin and Jimin are confirmed to stage a collaboration on Dec. 29.
According to Allkpop, the SHINee and BTS members will hold a dance performance at the "2016 KBS Gayo Festival." The collaboration was even announced by KBS who said the performance is something to look forward to.
"It's going to be a performance where Taemin and Jimin's bromance will shine," KBS said on Dec. 26.
It continued, "They are firing up their passion and participating in song selection, choreography, stage production, and more in order to create the best performance. It'll be one of the performances that you cannot miss. Please look forward to it."
Taemin and Jimin are known to be close friends. Aside from that, they are also popular for their talents in dancing. Taemin debuted as a SHINee member in 2008, while Jimin started his career with BTS in 2013.
Aside from performing with SHINee, Taemin also debuted as a solo artist with the release of "Solitary Goodbye" in July. Prior to that, the idol was said to be preparing for a debut in Japan with a mini album, Soompi cited.
Further reports claimed the mini album featured four new songs and a Japanese version of "Press Your Number."
On the other hand, Jimin and BTS attended the "2016 SBS Gayo Daejun" without Suga; hence, the boy group gave a shoutout to their co-member who could not make it to the music program.
"Suga is resting at home due to an injury right now, so I hope he watches our performance well," Jin said upon their arrival.
Despite the absence, Suga tuned into the "2016 SBS Gayo Daejun" to show his support and love to BTS.
Watch out for SHINee's Taemin and BTS' Jimin's collaboration at the "2016 KBS Gayo Festival."
