Hallyu star and former Kara member Seungyeon is set to release her first-ever Japanese album titled “Universe” on January 18.
In the released teaser photo, Seungyeon looked very composed and beautiful in her white knitted dress as pose for the camera with a flower in her mouth. Aside from her post which says “I love you”, no further details about the album was revealed yet, All Kpop reported.
Meanwhile, the KPop star has recently released the music video of her latest single titled “Do You Remember?” through the official YouTube page of the worldwide K-POP Channel “1theK”. According to reports, the song is Seungyeon’s special collaboration project with composer Sweetune. All of the proceed will be given to the charity.
In the music video, the singer showcased her angelic voice blended with the mellow acoustic background. Furthermore, it also features some of the special moments from Seungyeon’s life which she truly treasures.
“My donation project with Sweetune ‘Do You Remember?’ has finally been released! I took part in writing the lyrics for this song too!” the 28-year-old star wrote in her recent Instagram post.
She added: “All proceeds will go to a really great cause, so please give it a lot of love!”
Seungyeon began her entertainment career at the age of 5 after appearing in the TV drama series “Dear Ends” followed by ”Summer Showers” in 1995 and ”Star in My Heart” in 1997. However, after appearing in the said drama project, she left for the United States to study at Tenafly High School in New Jersey.
In 2007, the KPop idol went back to South Korea and became the main vocalist of Kara. The girl group disbanded in January this year after Seungyeon together with her fellow members Park Gyuri and Goo Hara decided to not renews their contract with their talent management agency DSP Media.
