Nokia E1 made the rounds online after its full specifications came out. Several sources and tech insiders are claiming that the much-awaited smartphone from the Finnish company will have a 1.4 GHz quad-core CPU Snapdragon 425 with Adreno 308 GPU.
The Snapdragon 425 processor promises an outstanding graphic performance and a 64-bit CPU with Cortex A53. This suggests that Nokia E1 will have a powerful processing. Does it also mean that the upcoming smartphone from HMD Global will be quite expensive?
Good news for consumers because Nokia E1 is believed to be a budget-friendly smartphone. The price could range from $200-$250, Price Pony has learned.
With a 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, it is likely that Nokia E1 will come with a microSD slot. The leak also suggests that it will run on Android Nougat 7.0, an operating system that allows a split-screen display mode for phones.
The entry-level smartphone reportedly has a 13 MP Rear Camera with 5 MP front camera. If this is true then it should produce good quality images and exceptional stunning selfies. Almost all of the selfie-optimized smartphones these days boast a 13 MP rear cam.
Reports further revealed that Nokia E1 will have a display size of 5.3 inches, the preferred smartphone screen size based on a research by the Strategy Analytics Mobile Device UX Group. Combined with a 720p display, this mid-range smartphone appears to have a convincing design.
According to Nokia Power User, Nokia E1 is just one of the six to seven Android phones that HMD is set to launch in 2017. The company launched its first smartphone, the Nokia 6 in China just yesterday, Jan. 8. Rumor has it that more smartphones are set to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2017 this February.
It is possible that the smartphone will be launched at the MWC 2017. Nokia has not confirmed anything about the leaked specifications of E1.
