Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner's characters do not get along in "Game of Thrones." But the actresses, who play sisters Arya and Sansa Stark respectively in the hit HBO series are friends in real life.
In fact, Williams and Turner are really good friends. They are even dubbed as besties! They proved it more than a couple of times by exchanging tweets every now and then, spending Halloween together, and getting matching tattoos. And with their latest snap, they epitomized the meaning of #FriendshipGoals.
Just recently, the actresses posed for the camera while they spent some clingy moments behind the scenes. Maisie Williams shared it to Instagram with the caption "There were never such devoted sisters," a reference to the 1954 romantic comedy film "White Christmas."
The Instagram photo was taken during the 2017 BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea Party over the last weekend, Mashable has learned. Both actresses hit the red carpet with their stylish outfits. Williams looked all dolled up by sporting a lovely dress while Turner was a total rock chic in her metallic look.
The "Game of Thrones" stars first met each other during the audition for the show. The friendship clicked and now they are closer than ever.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that a Stark reunion is about to happen in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Besides the return of their paternal cousin Jon Snow, Arya's involvement has kept fans abuzz.
Before the last Christmas break, news came out that a major spoiler involves Arya Stark. She will continue her murderous streak in the anticipated season as she is reportedly going to kill Littlefinger a.k.a. Petyr Baelish.
While Arya is rumored to kill Littlefinger, her sister Sansa is reportedly going to join force with him. Turner teased that her character will be involved in some sort of betrayal.
In other news, the cast of the fantasy series is now back to work after the Christmas break. As the filming of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 kicked off once again, there will surely be bits and pieces of details coming out in the near future.
