The NBA is nearly half-way through their regular season games and teams continue to vie for supremacy before heading to playoffs. However, not everyone gets to be the top as some teams experience slump that could dampen their hopes for post-regular season appearance.
76ers Still Hopes for the Best
The Philadelphia 76ers is one of the most exciting teams to watch this season simple because of Joel Embiid. The team is currently 15th in power rankings - moving five places from their last spot. But the beauty of 76ers is not only in their brilliant rookie since contributions from Ilyasova and Covington are hard to ignore.
They only lost 3 of their last 10 games according to their CBS Sports profile and their home-game win against LA Clippers should be a big boost because they did it without the help of Embiid because of nagging knee problems. Expect the rookie center on Friday's home game against Houston Rockets. Maybe Embiid is right to predict that they might finally be in the playoffs this season which should be a fantastic outcome for the young team.
Bucks Knocking at Playoff Door
Fans of Milwaukee bucks are in a rough week as the team only managed 3 wins in their last 10 games. Because of their performance they dropped six places in power rankings. But all hope is not lost - they are still 9th in playoff run and just a game behind 8th place Chicago Bulls.
Unfortunately, the team could be on a big skid and might lose their chances in getting to the playoffs altogether. The ESPN report Jabari Parker's benching is causing ripples not only in their cohesiveness and its reflected in their games. The only shining spot for now is that Giannis Antetokounmpo is an all-star and he'll most likely give fans the show time they deserve.
