Preview

Golden State and Charlotte are both coming off streak-snapping losses and will try to bounce back against each other in this encounter.

The Warriors' seven-game winning run was halted by lowly squad Miami Heat, 105-102, on the road at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Monday night, USA Today reported. Dion Waiters buried a go-ahead three-pointer with 0.6 seconds left to help the Heat pull off the stunning upset over the Western Conference leaders.

Kevin Durant scored 27 points on 12-for-23 shooting from the field to lead head coach Steve Kerr's side. He struggled from the three-point area, shooting only 1-for-8 but had six rebounds and three assists in a losing effort.

Klay Thompson added 22 points and five boards, shooting 3-for-8 from beyond the arc while Stephen Curry had an almost triple-double performance of 21 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists despite the loss.

JaVale McGee chipped in 10 points and five boards coming off the bench as the Heat bench outscored the Warriors' 29-19.

Meanwhile, the Hornets' three-game winning streak was also snapped by the Washington Wizards, 109-99, right at their own home floor of Spectrum Center last Monday, as per Fox Sports.

Kemba Walker top-scored for head coach Steve Clifford's squad with 21 points along with two rebounds and five assists.

Starters Marvin Williams and Cody Zeller both scored 13 points during the match with Williams also having eight boards, four assists, and two steals while Zeller added nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and two blocked shots.

Marco Belinelli had a big game off the bench with 18 points, three boards, and two assists, but it was not enough to help Charlotte overcome a poor first half of play.

Prediction

The Warriors are 18-4 on the road this season while the Hornets are 15-8 at home. Golden State is expected to bounce back from their previous poor game against the Heat, winning over Charlotte in this match.
