The Toronto Raptors (30-20) and Orlando Magic (19-32) face each other in a 2016-2017 NBA regular season match at the Amway Center on Friday, Feb. 3.

Toronto is on a downward spiral at the moment with seven losses in their last nine matches. The team has dropped one spot down to third place in the Eastern Conference table as a result, one-and-a-half games behind new second-seeded team Boston Celtics and only a half-game ahead of fourth-running team Washington Wizards.

The Raptors are coming off a 109-104 loss to the Celtics on Wednesday night on the road at the TD Garden in Boston, as per the Toronto Star.

Kyle Lowry has been carrying the load for Toronto these days with DeMar DeRozan sidelined by an ankle injury. DeRozan is still questionable in this game versus the Magic.

Against the Celtics, Lowry led the team with 32 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Norman Powell, who has been filling in for DeRozan, had 12 points, five boards, and two assists while Patrick Patterson added 10 points and three rebounds as starters.

Off the bench, two players scored in double figures namely Jared Sullinger and Lucas Nogueira, who netted 13 and 10 points respectively. The two have combined for 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Magic is also reeling right now with five losses in their last six games. The team is third from the last place in the East at the moment, four-and-a-half games below current eighth-seeded squad Charlotte Hornets.

Orlando was routed by the Indiana Pacers, 98-88, during their most recent game last Wednesday on their home floor of Amway Center, Fansided reported.

Serge Ibaka had 20 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocked shots to lead his squad in a losing effort. Nikola Vucevic started for the Magic and contributed a double-double of 15 points and 15 boards with five assists and two steals.

Evan Fournier added 12 points, four assists, and two steals while Elfrid Payton chipped in 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Prediction 

The Raptors are decent on the road this season with a 13-11 record while the Magic are poor at home with an 8-16 slate. A bounce back win for Toronto is predicted.
