"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will definitely have a wedding scene. This is what actor Michael Malarkey confirmed in a recent interview.
Malarkey teased what happens in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 going into the finale episodes. The actor, who plays Enzo, said there will be surprises and a few shocking events in store for viewers. He also revealed a bit of spoiler, when he confirmed that a wedding happens.
"There's going to be some love and marriage and all kinds of things. It's going to be an intense ride for the last few episodes for the fans and maybe they should start calling their therapists and booking in advance," Malarkey told TV Fanatic in a phone interview.
However, the question is who is getting married in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8? The most obvious answer would be Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King). Stefan already proposed to Caroline and the latter has since planned a June wedding.
Likewise, recent behind-the-scenes photos teased a wedding takes place in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale. One of the photos shared by TV Line, shows bright lights used as stage backdrop and as decorations on the ceiling. The tables and chairs seem fit for a wedding reception and there are wine glasses on the tables.
Moreover, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan are both dressed in a suit and tie. Their appearance suggests they are in a party that calls for such formal attire.
Fans have since clamored to see a Steroline wedding in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale. Series creator Julie Plec declined to confirm whether this happens. However, Wesley and King said in an interview at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, that fans usually get what they want. If they want Stefan and Caroline to get married, then it might just happen.
