The second half of "The Flash" Season 3 explores the relationship between Jesse Quick and Kid Flash. Keiynan Lonsdale teased what to expect when the two speedsters reunite.
The beginning of "The Flash" Season 3 clearly showed that there is a connection between Kid Flash and Jesse Quick. The show did not explore their relationship though.
However, Lonsdale assured that the connection is still there. Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) and Kid Flash may be two Earths apart, but they certainly still feel the same way for each other.
Lonsdale, who plays Wally West aka Kid Flash, teased their relationship blossoms in the second half of "The Flash" Season 3. Fans may see the pair connect in a more romantic way.
"I think for both of them, they know how they feel and they want to make it work. So there's a little bit of him that is ready to go all-in, but he's still got to protect himself," Lonsdale told Screener TV.
However, Lonsdale warned that their relationship does not go smoothly at first. He told Variety that "things get a bit rocky" since they both have to go through some things. On the good side though, Kid Flash is happy that he is now a speedster and he can share this experience with Jesse Quick.
Kid Flash and Jesse Quick reunite in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 13. The two young speedsters work side-by-side to stop a metahuman who can control gravity. They also got to spend some quality time alone together.
Elsewhere in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 13, "Attack on Gorilla City," Barry, Cisco, Julian and Caitlin travel to Earth 2 to rescue Harrison Wells in Gorilla City. There they reunite with Grodd, who asked for their help in stopping Solovar, the leader of Gorilla City, from invading Earth 1.
