After being part of the hit TV drama series “Descendants of the Sun” and “Doctor Crush”, South Korean actor Kim Min Suk might once again showcase his acting skills in the upcoming historical fantasy film “Monster”.
According to his talent management agency Woolim Entertainment, the star has been offered to portray for a role in the film. Although his participation in the project was not yet confirmed, the label added that he is still considering whether he would accept the proposal or not, Soompi reported.
Meanwhile, Kim has recently proved his daring side and impressive culinary skill in the Feb. 24 installment of the reality TV show “The Law of Jungle”. During the show, the star killed a monitor lizard that he and fellow casts Sungyeol of the boy group INFINITE, 9MUSES’ Kyungri, and Kang Tae Oh have discovered by throwing the coconut that he was holding. After the capture, he became in charge of the group’s dinner.
“I studied hotel cooking in school and then worked part-time at a seafood restaurant for five years,” revealed Kim as quoted by All KPop.
Sungyeol, on the other hand, commented with satisfaction saying,“I feel energized after eating meat. It’s more delicious than you’d think”.
Kim began his career in the entertainment in 2011 after joining several talent shows including “Superstar K3” and “King of Mask Singer”. He rose to fame after playing the role of a band keyboardist Seo Kyung Jong in the 2012 romantic musical TV drama series ”Shut Up Flower Boy Band”. In 2016, he received the “New Star Award” for his promising performance in “Doctor Crush” from the SBS Drama Awards as well as the “Best Entertainer Award” for his participation in SBS’ music program “Inkigayo” from the SBS Entertainment Awards.
