Chuck Berry is dubbed as the "Father of Rock n' Roll" due to his enormous contribution to the music. The legend has passed away on Saturday March 18 and leaving behind his great legacy that surpass generations.

According to police report from the St. Charles County, Missouri, as reported by USA Today, Berry was found unresponsive in his home. He was pronounced dead at the scene after the lifesaving measures was unsuccessful.

The 90-year-old musician is known as the father of Rock 'n Roll. He is the inventor the guitar riff technique, which is now a common tune in the modern rock music. He is also the first one who introduced a signature duck walk, which was imitated by many musicians from Elvis Presley, The Beatles to Van Halen.

According to New York Times, Berry preceded Presley as the conceptual genius. Although Presley is the first rock star who won the teenage heart, but Berry was the one who invented the essence of Rock 'n Roll. It is suffice to say that the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer was able to write the song that the teenage wanted before they even knew it.

Two of his masterpieces, "Roll Over Beethoven" and "Johnny B. Goode" have been sung and interpreted by many musicians. The Beatles and the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden are two of the known musicians to sing or interpret "Roll Over Beethoven." While "Johnny B. Goode" has been interpreted and covered by Jimmy Hendrix, Leif Garrett, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Bob Weir and Judas Priest.

The Beatles was known to be the fans of Berry. The four young man from Liverpool made three cover version of Berry's song. They are "Roll Over Beethoven," "Johnny B. Goode" and "Rock 'n Roll Music." Ironically, The Beatles' version of "Rock 'n Roll Music" has become more famous than Berry's original version.
