The ninth season of MTV' reality show 'Splitsvilla' made its debut in Mumbai, India on Tuesday.
Former pornstar turned Bollywood celebrity Sunny Leone and her co-host and MTV VJ Rannvijay Singh are returning as hosts of the dating reality show, which is based on the American TV show 'Flavor of Love.'
Leone has been hosting the show for the past three seasons. She hosted season eight with Rannvijay Singh and season seven with MTV VJ Nikhil Chinnappa.
The new season seeks to give more power to women with its new theme 'Where Women Rule.'
"I am thrilled to be back on Splitsvilla, more so because this time the ultimate power lies in the hands of women. Women rule this season, and you will see the shift in power as six gorgeous princesses dictate who stays in the show and who does not," Leone said at the launch event. "Everyone says it's a man's world, but I assure you the world will look better with women at the helm. You will see this on Splitsvilla this season."
Leone, who was last seen in box office disaster 'One Night Stand,' will be next seen 'Beiimaan Love' opposite Rajneesh Duggal. Her husband Daniel Weber is debuting in Bollywood with the movie. Leone is also doing a dance number in superstar Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie 'Raees.'
Leone is known for her work in erotic movies 'Ragini MMS 2' and 'Jism 2.' But she has failed to ignite the box office in over one year as her last four movies - 'Jackpot', 'Ek Paheli Leela,' 'Kuch Kuch Locha Hai,' 'Mastizaade' and 'One Night Stand' - have flopped.
