Amid cheating rumors involving other showbiz stars, actress Leanne Li remains unaffected by the possibility that her husband, Wong Cho-lam, might cheat on her.
According to Jayne Stars, the 31-year-old actress said that she has a lot of informants and should Wong cheat on her, he would be forced to kneel on broken glass and durian (a fruit that has a spiky outer covering).
"Not yet and I hope he won't," Leanne said when asked whether Wong has already experienced this kind of punishment. The actress added that they are fortunate as a newly-married couple, and she has no worries of Wong cheating as the media keeps an eye on him.
Meanwhile, Wong's career continues to flourish as his new studio is set to sign about ten artists from Hong Kong and mainland China. The studio is co-owned by Wong's agency, Shaw Brothers. Wong's overall capital in the studio is a minimum amount.
Leanne, Wong's wife, was one of the pioneering talents to sign under this new studio. Despite rumors that she has been promoted to a special status since she is directly related to the owner, Leanne clarified that Wong treats all staff and artists fairly.
"Be careful of what you say," Wong said, he jokingly added that he will freeze Leanne's contract.
Although Wong is no longer connected with TVB, the artist is apparently maintaining his collaboration with the agency as he is set to begin working on an upcoming project, titled "Inbound Troubles 3."
