"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" director James Gunn recently took to Twitter and dropped hints that the film may show teaser footage in Comic-Con in San Diego. He also shared his thoughts on the role of villain Nebula in the sequel to the popular superhero film.
According to Screen Rant, Gunn tweeted that fans may be able to see something if they attend their presentation in Comic-Con. This is in response to queries on when will fans be able to have a sneak peek at the latest movie.
The Comic-Con is a Mecca for comic book fans, and is known to be a platform in showing footage from highly anticipated superhero movies. With "Guardians of the Galaxy" wrapping up shooting a few weeks ago, it is expected that Gunn has enough material to show at the event. which will be held on July 21 to 24.
Gunn also shared in Twitter that the villain Nebula, who is played by Karen Gillan, will do a much bigger role in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," as compared to the first, GamesRadar reported. Nebula, who is the sister of Gamora, did not have too much screen time on the first movie. The tweet from Gunn is expected to spark excitement among fans, who were impressed by Gillan's portrayal of the rebellious daughter of Thanos, despite her limited screen time.
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is expected to be a big hit based on the reception of the first film. It will hit theaters in May 2017, and it is expected that the official trailer for the movie will be shown before the end of the year.
