Agency speaks up to rumors about ex-Super Junior Kim Ki Bum, former Five Dolls member Ryu Hyo Young; Denies ‘On Air Scandal’ stars are dating

Dating rumor involving Kim Ki Bum and Ryu Hyo Young was immediately shot-down by the celebrities' agency on Monday, denying that the circulating buzz about the two being in a romantic relationship is not true.

A representative of the agency clarified that the ex-Super Junior is not romantically involved with the former Five Dolls member. "The dating rumors are not true. Kim Ki Bum and Ryu Hyo Young know each other from the web drama "On Air Scandal," but do not have any special relationship," Soompi quoted the agency as sayingThe agency added that Kim and Ryu are just colleagues who are associated with the same agency.

Prior to this, rumor has it that the two celebrities are dating after being spotted at Jeju International airport. According to IBTimes, bystanders found that the two seemed in love with each other.

According to the news agency, a source revealed that Kim and Ryu are obviously dating as the two were acting sweet. The source added that the actor even offered his arm to be her pillow. However, the agency clarified that the stars were both at the airport for a movie they were working together.

"The photo of the two at the airport is a photo that was taken as they were on the way to Jeju Island for work," it said.

Despite keeping his life private, the 28-year-old actor has been rumored to be dating 23-year-old Ryu, since the two of them collaborated for a Chinese web drama titled "On Air Scandal." The two celebrities reportedly started dating after going through hardships while filming the web drama.

Kim made his debut as an actor in 2004 before he joined Super Junior a year later. He announced his departure from the boy band in 2009 to pursue his acting career.

Meanwhile, Ryu started her career in 2010 with Korean pop group Coed School, which later divided into two: female and male units. She joined as a member of the female unit called Five Dolls in 2011. The girl group disbanded in 2015 after their contracts expired.

Kim and Ryu will appear on "On Air Scandal," which is set to air in September.
