Hail the queen of Instagram, Selena Gomez. The 23-year-old singer achieved another milestone for her Instagram account as a photo she uploaded two weeks ago garnered over 4 million likes, making it the most-liked photo on the mobile photo-sharing social media service.

On June 26, the "Same Old Love" singer posted a photo of herself sipping a Coca-cola; although there was nothing extraordinary about the photo, aside from the fact that Gomez is stunningly beautiful in her red top, the post has become the most-liked photo on Instagram, Time reported.

Gomez captioned the photo, "When your lyrics are on the bottle," referring to the bottle's label, "You're the spark," a lyric from her song "Me And The Rhythm" under her album "Revival."

Aside from this, Gomez is also the most-followed personality on Instagram with over 89 million followers, surpassing her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift with 74.9 million and 85.5 million followers respectively.

Amid her domination on the mobile photo-sharing app, Gomez admitted she does not have a social media consultant unlike other celebrities who hire one to organize their social media profiles. "It comes in a moment when I capture something happening, and I go, "Oh, that would be great for Instagram. I should post it." I know it's boring, but that's genuinely what I do," Gomez said, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

She also said that it was not her goal to become the most-followed person on Instagram, and added that the mobile photo-sharing app is her favorite social media channel.

"I try to find a good balance of just being 100 percent myself and knowing when to post a really good selfie with good lighting," the singer added.

Meanwhile, some followers of Gomez are still questioning whether the photos uploaded to her account are not staged, referring to her recent photo uploaded where she was riding in a grocery cart inside a market that seemed empty.

According to Gomez, there was even a commenter who claimed the American singer rented out the grocery to do a photo shoot, which Gomez cleared out that she did not and that the photo was organic.
