'Kabali' leaked online: Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming gangster drama surfaces on internet three days before its release [VIDEO]

South Indian superstar Rajinikanth's "Kabali" movie has been leaked online. The gangster drama is now available on several websites for download.

A source associated with the movie's production house has confirmed the leak, stating that they have already requested authorities to remove all those unauthorized internet links.

"We have contacted the authorities to pull down all these unauthorized links to the film. However, this is a Rajinikanth film. It is difficult to contain let alone control the excitement for a film starring the Thalaiva," the source said, according to India Times.

More recently, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma's "Sultan," Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer "Udta Punjab" and Reitesh Deshmukh and Urvashi Rautela's "Great Grand Masti" were leaked online.

The makers of "Great Grand Masti" suffered huge loss due to online leak. "It's a big loss for us. This has happened for the first time when a film is leaked 17 days before its official release. It has killed our film. It's a tough time for us. We are sad and upset," movie's director Indra Kumar said, according to Indian Express.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte starrer "Kabali" is all set to storm box office on July 22. "Kabali" trailer has already shattered all records and became most watched movie trailer in the history of Indian cinema. Many corporate offices in Southern India have already declared holiday on July 22. The movie, releasing in 12,000 screens, is expected to earn Rs 200 crores in the first three days.
