The makers of Salman Khan's recently released "Sultan" movie have decided to come up with the sequel of massively successful sports drama.
"Sultan" became highest Bollywood opener in 2016 with the earning of record 36 crores rupees on the first day. The movie earned more than 37 crore rupees on second day.
Following the massive success of the film, the makers of the movie, Yash Raj Films (YRF), have asked director Ali Abbas Zafar to start working on second installment. As per media reports, Salman Khan has also given his nod for sequel.
"We hear the filmmaker has already announced Sultan part deux, and has asked Ali Abbas Zafar to start scripting it. Salman has also given his nod to star in the second film," Mumbai Mirror newspaper reported.
"Sultan," released on Wednesday, is running successfully on box office and it is likely to dominate Indian theaters in coming week. It minted more than 73 crore rupees in just two days of its release at Indian box office. It is set to join 100 crore movie club this weekend.
Meanwhile, film piracy syndicate allegedly targeted the movie and leaked it online hours before its release in Indian theaters on Wednesday. "If one tries proxy server of other countries 'Sultan' is out online. But if you try it here (in India), it is blocked," a cyber security told Press Trust of India. "If one goes to watch it online, a message flashes on websites that the content is removed as per Copyright Act."
