Many Korean superstars are being linked to sexual assault cases in the past months, and one of them is Lee Min Ki. As a result, he will no longer be part of the new Korean drama "With You Tomorrow."

A representative for the upcoming tvN drama "With You Tomorrow" cleared the reports about Lee leaving the production. The representative said that Lee has never confirmed of being part of the show, so "it isn't right to say he 'left.'" Accordingly, the scheduled casting of Lee never took place when the producers and staff of "With You Tomorrow" was on their mediation stage, All KPop reported.

tvN also said in a statement that "Our schedule didn't match with Lee Min Ki's so he decided in the end to not appear." Reports have surfaced in the past months that Lee was supposed to appear in "With You Tomorrow" alongside actress Shin Min Ah.

tvN said in a statement before that their casting decisions will still remain untouched and unaffected, despite the controversy that surrounded Lee. It remains unclear what really happened and if Lee turned down the offer or if he was asked to do so due to the sexual assault scandal, Soompi reported.

The news about Lee's sexual assault scandal was released only after the case has been resolved. Accordingly, Lee went to a club in Busan on Feb. 27 and was accused of sexual assault by a woman he met at the area. The woman eventually dropped the charges and Lee was found not guilty. Many are also saying that after the news broke about Lee being involved in such a case, offers have dropped.

"With You Tomorrow" is a romance drama about a time traveler and his wife. It is scheduled to be shown on TV screens this September.
