South Korean actor and singer Lee Joon-gi displayed his smooth connection to the sea as he posed for “The Star” magazine’s issue for the month of August.
Lee’s photo shoot were exclusively captured in the serene and captivating beaches of Honolulu in Hawaii, “The Star” shared on their Instagram account. The magazine labeled it as “The Express” project.
In the photos released by the magazine in its social media pages, Lee appeared comfortable yet dominating while looking at the blue sky and clear sea of “The Aloha State”. In one of the shots, the 34-year-old actor, mightily stood in the sand and seemed like overseeing the island with both hands inside the pockets of his khaki shorts.
"I believe that I still come up short as an actor. I'm always wondering if the term 'actor' is the right place for me," Lee shared in an interview as quoted by All KPop.
Aside from being “The Star” magazine’s cover model, the actor will also be featured in the “Cosmopolitan” magazine for its August issue along with his fellow cast members in the upcoming TV fantasy historical drama series “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo”, reports Soompi. South Korean stars Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, Yoon Sun Woo, Nam Joo Hyuk, EXO’s Baekhyun, Ji Soo, and IU were among the actors who joined Lee in the photo shoot.
The actor, also known as Lee Jun-ki, rose to stardom when he portrayed the character of Gong-gil in the 2005 historical drama film “The King and the Clown”. Since then, he was offered various projects including “My Girl”, “Iljimae” and “Arang and the Magistrate”.
