"Basic Witches" actress Summer Fontana is set to cast as the older Hope Mikaelson in the upcoming "The Originals" Season 4.
According to TV Line, "The Originals" is set to come back on its Season 4 and has announced during the San Diego Comic Con 2016 that a jump of five years will be passed down from the finale of Season 3 to Season 4. There are speculations that in the series, after five long years, Klaus Michaelson (Joseph Morgan) might not recognize her daughter Hope because she will not be a baby anymore and will be a powerful witch.
Phoebe Tonkin, who plays as Hayley Marshall-Kenner and is the mother of Hope in "The Originals" series, confirmed this and added that she is excited what Hope's personality will be in the fourth season. She also said that Hope has a strong resemblance to his dad and will have similar personalities from his dad despite they are not together for five years. Reports suggest that Fontana is currently filming "The Originals" Season 4 earlier this week.
In "The Originals" series, Klaus, Rebekah (Claire Holt), and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are the original vampires. A century ago, their father kicked them out in Orleans with the help of his evil recipients. Now, they are all back to Orleans to do the unfinished businesses. They have to stop the war between supernatural beings and humans in order to save the city that they have established long time ago. They also have to alleviate the safety of Klaus' heir. In the Season 3 finale, Hayley is the only hope to find a cure for the life-threatening poisons that Rebekah, Freya, and Elijah are facing, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"The Originals" is created by Julie Plec and was first released back on Oct. 3, 2013. It will be aired on The CW Network every Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
