Singing superstar Mariah Carey admitted being a fan of ABC's political drama "Scandal." Actor Tony Goldwyn from the show has teased that the next season is going to be unbelievably good.
While speaking to reporters at the Television Critics Association's press tour on Wednesday, Carey admitted that she is a big fan of "Scandal" and loves watching it. She said this in response to a query about the shows she likes to binge on while traveling. Carey revealed that she watches it on Netflix over and over, Entertainment Weekly reported.
When asked about her favorite Olivia Pope moment from the show, she said that there are many, and though the kidnapping thing did not really impress her, she loved it when Pope and Mellie became friends and sat together drinking the moonshine on the floor. Given her observation, Carey certainly seems to be an avid fan but she will have to wait for Season 6 to return.
The season will not premiere before 2017 but the good news is that, it is going to be a great season. Actor Tony Goldwyn has revealed that Season 6 will be "unbelievably good," E! News reported. Goldwyn vouched for the show's quality and said that although it has been running for five years, creator Shonda Rhimes and the writers still manage to come up with fresh storylines.
Revealing further tidbits, he said that Season 6 is really good and fans are going to be psyched. Moreover, Goldwyn, who plays President Fitz in the series, has a new storyline lined up as he is set to leave his seat soon.
It may be mentioned here that the sixth season of "Scandal" has been delayed a little because Kerry Washington aka Olivia Pope is pregnant. Since she is the lead character, the creators are treading cautiously so that Washington may shoot without any difficulty.
