South Korean girl group I.O.I first sub unit's promotional shots for their new single “Whatta Man” are finally released. In the teaser images released on Aug. 5, the band members appeared captivating as they gestured for the camera.
In the shots, the sub-group, which is composed of Kim Sohye, Kim Chungha, Choi Yoojung, Lim Nayoung, Jeon Somi, Zhou Jieqiong, and Kim Doyeon, exposed their fair skin and curvy bodies. Although separately grouped by three and four in some of the shots, the girls didn’t fail to exude sexiness in their black leather outfits.
Prior to the promotional images, I.O.I have already released a teaser photo. According to Soompi, the girls unveiled their transformation with their uniform clothes and wings.
Meanwhile, the teaser music video of the girls’ single “Whatta Man” was released on Aug. 3, while its full version is set to be released on Aug. 9 at 12 midnight (KST), All Kpop reported.
I.O.I was formed by the entertainment and media company CJ E&M through Mnet’s reality show “Produce 101” in April. The group made their debut on the entertainment platform a month later with their first mini-album and music video "Dream Girls."
Although they were only composed of 7 members in their second album, I.O.I is originally composed of 11 girls. The rest of the girls are Kim Se Jeong, Jung Chaeyeon, Yu Yeon Jung and Kang Mi Na.
Some I.O.I’s hit songs include "When the Cherry Blossoms Fade," "Knock Knock Knock" and “Pick me.” In 2016, the group won the New Star Award by Asia Model Awards.
