Fans who are eagerly awaiting for the release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are in for a treat. This comes in the form of a set of screenshots released by Bandai Namco for the upcoming video game.

New characters from the Dragon Ball universe are coming to the game, and the screenshots shows that Bardock, Cooler and Turtles will be joining the playabel roster of "Dargon Ball Xenoverse 2," Dual Shockers reported.

Game developer Dimps have also made available several details earlier this year. During Dimps' presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, a host of new features that will be introduced in the new "Xenoverse" game were presented to the public.

One of these features deals with the video frame rate, Game Spot reported. While the first game ran only in 30 frames per second (FPS), the sequel will run at 60 FPS. The improved frame rate will be partnered with a new camera system that reportedly follows the characters' movement better than the camera in the first game.

Two new features will also be added to the Combat System, and these two features are the Homing Dash and Aura Burst Dash. In addition to the combat changes and improved frame rate, "Xenoverse 2" will feature more choices in the avatar customization system. For example, places that are associated with a certain race in the Dragon Ball universe will have secret locations that only characters from the race can access. Only that race can also receive rewards exclusive to them in certain locations.

"Xenoverse 2" game will also have a larger hub city, as it will be seven times larger than its predecessor, wherein up to 300 avatars will be able to congregate in the city at any given time. A hover machine will also make an appearance as a form of transportation for players. However, Dimps did not compare flying with this new form of travel in-game.

The new Dragon Ball fighting game will be officially released on Oct. 25 in North America, and on Oct. 28 in Europe. The game will have versions for the PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PC.
