South Korean star and former Wonder Girls member Sohee is one of Marie Claire Korea’s faces for the month of September.
In the photo shoot initiated by photographer Kim Young Jun, Sohee projected her sophisticated daring beauty in front of the camera. Despite the touches of innocence on her face, she proves in her shots that she is now ready to show off more of her mature side.
One of the shots shows the sensual version of Sohee as she comfortably sits on a sofa with her maroon satin dress and a pair of ballerina shoes on. The next images display the close-up face of the star as she sharply gazes at the camera.
Aside from carrying out different poses, the singer-actress also did a tell-all interview for the magazine. In one of the questions, Sohee was asked about her rituals when it comes to acting.
"It is my concern and homework to make my acting more natural and not overwhelming to the public," Sohee shared as quoted by All Kpop.
Born as Ahn Sohee, the 24-year-old Korean idol started her career in the entertainment industry when she became a member of the girl band Wonder Girls in 2007 under the management of the talent agency JYP Entertainment. In 2013, she departed from the group and made her solo debut.
Apart from singing and dancing, Sohee also entered the world of acting. She starred in TV drama series like “Heart to Hear” and “Entrourage”.
In July this year, she portrayed the role of a high school student in the South Korean zombie apocalypse thriller film “Train to Busan” alongside actor Choi Woo Shik, Soompi reported. The film premiered on July 20.
