Hong Kong-based actress and model Sharon Chan is going to have a baby for a Christmas gift. In a recent interview, the 37-year-old star revealed that she is giving birth via caesarean delivery in December.
According to Chan who is currently five months pregnant with a baby boy, her non-celebrity husband William Lui was the one who chose the date of her delivery, Jayne Stars reported. She further stated that her child’s English name will be given by the brother of her close friend Christine Ng.
When asked about her work adjustments, the actress revealed that she is not taking film projects as of the moment. She shared that she would only do hosting jobs for now as it does not require too much effort.
“Hosting jobs aren’t a problem”, the actress said as quoted by Jayne Stars and added “I’ve always been a very active person. Pregnant women should stay active and exercise anyways.”
Chan declared her pregnancy on July in her social media accounts, AHMike reported. Her revelation has made her family and fans very happy and excited at the same time.
Chan started her career as a model and eventually made her way to the acting scene. She starred in TV drama series like “The Ultimate Addiction” and “Line Walker”. She also starred in films which include “A Dream Team”.
Lui and Chan have been dating for more than a decade before they tied-the-knot in 2015.
