A lot of fans have been disappointed after Block B member Zico revealed his relationship with South Korean singer and actress Seolhyun. During his performance at the “2016 Nike Unlimited Korea” event, the rapper reached out to fans and shared his sentiments regarding his public life to the crowd.
"Ah, I have a memory that I can't forget. The day my car, my house, my life got all revealed. I'm sorry to the fans that were disappointed. But the fact that you guys are first won't change, right. I remember all my past mistakes. But there are things you should be more worried about than my private life,” the 24-year-old star stated as quoted by All KPop.
He continued: “That's the real right that you should look for. But the owners of this country are you. You should know, too many haters, that I got hate comments from you guys for 5 years. You cursed out my personality, my parents, and made sexually harassing comments, even though you'd shut up if you got a lawsuit."
Zico and Seolhyun’s relationship was confirmed by their talent management agency FNC Entertainment on August 9. Prior to this, the pair has been rumored to be dating for the last five months, Soompi reported.
Born as Woo Ji-ho, Zico started his career in 2011 after joining the boy band Block B alongside Taeil, B-Bomb, Jaehyo U-Kwon, Park Kyung, and P.O.. The group made their debut on the KBS variety show “Music Bank”.
In December 2015, he released his solo debut album “Gallery” under the record label Seven Seasons. At the same year, Zico became one of the producers of the rap competition show “Show Me the Money 4” together with producer Paloalto.
