"Pokemon Go" has been a worldwide craze ever since it's release. Now with the latest news about the legendary Pokemon being available in an upcoming update, fans are even more hyped than before.
According to VG 24/7, the legendary Pokemon included in the update are Mew, Mewtwo, and the three Legendary Birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres). Even the ever so elusive Ditto is considered a rarity in Pokemon history, and the good news is they are included in the game files, according to the players who decoded the game.
The reports say that the three Legendary Birds are linked to players and team leaders since they are each the symbols and mascots of Teams Instinct, Valor, and Mystic. That could possibly mean that whatever team that these players are on, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres could be caught and be part of their collection.
A trailer for augmented reality game was shown earlier with Mewtwo battling in the end with a lot of people watching the spectacle. The Pokemon was known to be the most powerful in the first generation of Pokemon, next to Mew,. That would mean that if players were to able to find one, it would be quite a challenge.
Ditto, on the other hand, is also considered one of the rarest (if not THE rarest) one in "Pokemon Go," Scoop Everyday reported. Even if it is not considered a legendary Pokemon, it remains to be the most elusive due to its shapeshifting nature. Ditto in the original games (and show) was a Pokemon that could impersonate and polymorph into different forms of Pokemon.
Possibly, in the update, Ditto could pose as a regular Pokemon that is yet to be discovered in the wild, according to some players' speculations. An event could happen where players could see through the shapeshifting Pokemon's guise. Until then, there is no possible way to find Ditto.
Additionally, the updates for "Pokemon Go" could introduce the Master Ball. Thanks to Ranked Boost, it was said that players were able to decode the game's data to find the code for the Master Ball. Based on stats, the Master Ball has a 100 percent chance for Capture and Hit even if players missed the Pokemon. This could mean a lot for players intent on catching rarer Pokemon, especially the Legendary ones.
