Valve has been responsible for creating classics such as "Half-Life" series, although fans eagerly await the third title which has been silent for years now. There are numerous rumors though that might confirm the elusive sequel's actual progress.

A spark of hope is what fans are still hanging on to for a possible "Half-Life 3" game. According to PRWeb, one of the the latest development on Valve was their transferral of office to the Lincoln Square Expansion in Bellevue, Washington. The area is still currently under construction, making the company plan on moving by May 2017 according to the real estate agency Kemper Development Company.

This may hint that  the "Half-Life" developer company would work better in maintaining their current games and also possibly be making big preparations for the third "Half-Life" sequel, as well as a third "Left 4 Dead" game. Although until this is actually confirmed, fans shouldn't hold their breaths just yet.

Other news of the possible sequel of "Half-Life" were brought up earlier during Gamescom 2016 held in Cologne, Germany. Along with other upcoming sequels, a familiar orange banner was seen with the words "Half-Life 3," according to Eurogamer. However, upon closer inspection, a subheading written in German continued the title's statement, completing the phrase as "Half-Life: 3 editors who played it back then." The banner was a paid attempt by a local media company Spieletipps and GIGA Games for trolling, which successfully caused a huge stir among fans.

Additionally, reports claim that "Half-Life 3" will be released sometime around 2017 or even 2018, just in time for the game's 20th anniversary. Along with that would be a possible feature for the sequel to involve a virtual reality platform as well.
