Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly replaced Alia Bhatt in Ajay Devgn starrer "Golmaal 4."
Media reports suggest that director Rohit Shetty has finalized "Baaghi" actress to play female lead in the movie opposite Devgn. Earlier, it was rumored that Shetty has finalized Alia Bhatt to play female lead. "There was speculation that Bhatt had been approached, but she kept Shetty hanging by not committing to the project. Fed up of the waiting game, the filmmaker approached her rival Kapoor," Mumbai-based tabloid Mid Day reported. However, there has not been any official confirmation about the lead actress' replacement.
There have been lots of speculations regarding the star cast of the fourth installment of highly successful "Golmaal" franchise. Earlier, it was reported that director Rohit Shetty had approached Deepika Padukone to play female lead in the movie. "Golmaal 4" or "Golmaal Again" will star Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade in lead roles. Devgn, who is currently busy with post production of his next "Shivaay," will start shooting for "Golmaal 4" by the end of this year. The Bollywood comedy drama is slated to release on Diwali in 2017.
Shraddha Kapoor, who worked in hit movies like "Aashiqui 2" and "ABCD 2," is currently shooting for her next movie Half Girlfriend with Arjun Kapoor, BollywoodLife reported. She has also bagged "Rock On 2" with Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal and "Dhadkan 2" opposite Sooraj Pancholi and Fawad Khan. The 29-year-old actress is also planning to make her small screen debut with a music reality show.
