There have been rumors that another esteemed British actor is going to cast in the "Game of Thrones" Season 7, pinpointing to Angela Lansbury. Unfortunately, these rumors are not true as her publicist clarifies. Sorry, Lansbury fans.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Lansbury's team said that this is not accurate. The rumor began over Labor Day weekend. A German website for tabloid newspaper Bild was the original source. The idea of seeing the 90-year-old actress in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 seemed credible to many.

Lansbury is an Honorary Oscar winner and certainly qualifies her to appear in a role in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 that is full of British actors. The Bild report described her part as a minor cameo role, appearing in two episodes of the HBO hit series. She is assumed to be on set for just four days.

Within the last week, Lansbury will be the second British actor to be linked to "Game of Thrones" Season 7. A fellow Oscar winner Jim Broadbent has been recently reported last week to join in a significant mystery role in the HBO TV series. He is speculated with five possible scenarios of his role. He might be Maester Marwyn or Maester Yandel or a maester of a different color or the mad king or another King entirely.

The filming of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 has begun, The Independent reported. Various cast members have been spotted in Northern Ireland. Various set locations were also announced. The Spanish beach Muriola Beach in Barrika has been revealed earlier this week. Fans believed that it will act as Daenerys' Westeros landing point.

Lansbury is best known for her roles in "Murder," "She Wrote," "Bedknobs," and "Broomsticks." She also did a voice cast on Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast." She was trending on Facebook on Wednesday. If her name and "Game of Thrones" were searched, there were dozens of results appearing on Google News. HBO made no comments on this matter, but the show returns next summer.
