Michael Trevino returns in his role as Tyler Lockwood in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. The hit TV series is set to premiere in just a few months on The CW network beginning Oct. 21.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Trevino is set to reprise Tyler Lockwood for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. He will first appear in episode 3 where he will once again fight Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). He will attempt to talk some sense into Damon. He will remind him what and who is important.
In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, the mental state of Damon will be even worse as he continues to spiral out of control after his experience in the Vault. As usual, Damon will not be always eager to listen to Lockwood. The last time Lockwood seen in the series was when Damon used him as a punching bag. Damon really did a number on him, but Lockwood survived. Lockwood will be the person who oversees Gilbert's body in a deep slumber.
Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) will also be finally reunited on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, as TV Guide reported. They will not be together forever since a powerful new woman Sybil is coming to town. She is the monster in the Vault who affected Damon and Enzo St. John (Michael Malarkey) in the season 7 finale. She will like Stefan. To recall, Lockwood fell in love with Forbes also.
It is unclear if Lockwood will appear in other episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 or if this is a one-time appearance. What is going to happen when Lockwood encounters Damon? Will he be able to help the vampire? Or is it too late for Damon, Enzo, and anyone else the creature comes across? Will Stefan and Caroline make it through? Stay tuned for more updates of the hit TV series.
