With EA's "Road to Battlefield 1" campaign, gamers should be able to avail of the free downloadable content for "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield Hardline."  Those who missed out on the previous free content which only one pack that lasted for a week can get these once more, this time with all the expansions.

According to Gamespot, Microsoft's Larry Hryb (also known as Major Nelson) made an announcement that "Battlefield 4" expansions "China Rising," "Second Assault," "Naval Strike," "Dragon's Teeth," and "Final Stand" will be free of charge for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Recently, they will be made available for free for the PlayStation 3 and 4 as well. PC is also getting its free copy through the Origin website.

Cinelinx also reports that this deal was similar to previous ones in which they only lasted for a week starting from Sept. 13. Once purchased for free, gamers can keep their copy for as long as they want, without the need for getting the actual game or installing it to get the content. Although they wouldn't also need an Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus Membership to get the deal, gamers would still need a subscription to play online.

Additionally for the Xbox owners, the games would allow them to join EA Access. The free content for "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield Hardline" will be free for a week starting Sept. 13.

In other news, "Battlefield 1" is set for release on Oct. 21 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
