When "Scream Queens" returns, a new killer on the loose will be introduced. In other news, the series has tapped "Cheers" star Kirstey Alley to play a devious character in Season 2.
After the killing spree brought in by Hester last season, "Scream Queens" will move forward in a hospital setting in Season 2. However, viewers should expect to meet a new lunatic killer to wreak havoc inside the hospital. Series star Leah Michelle has previewed that Hester will be part of the hunt in tracking down the mysterious bad guy.
"As the murders start to happen, everyone is obviously thinking that it's Hester again," Michele recently revealed to TVGuide.
"She's quite adamant that she is not the killer this season, but that she will try and help them figure out who the killer is."
In other news, "Scream Queens" has recruited Kirstey Alley to board its Season 2 cast - The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The Cheers star has landed a series regular role in the new installment, playing the role of a brilliant and devious administrator in the hospital.
The actress, whose recent TV credits include "Veronica's Closet" and "Fat Actress," will join previously cast John Stamos, Taylor Lautner, Jerry O'Connell and Jame Earl.
"Scream Queens" Season 2 will see the return of original cast members - Jamie Lee Curtis as Dean Munsch, Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin, Abigail Breslin as Chanel #5, Billie Lourd as Chanel #3 and Keke Palmer as Zayday Williams.
"Scream Queens" Season 2 Episode 1 "Scream Again," is slated to air on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9PM on FOX.
