Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is diagnosed with deadly dengue fever.
The 38-year-old "Dirty Picture" actress is advised to take bed rest for next two weeks by her doctor. Balan, who recently wrapped up shooting in USA for his upcoming movie "Kahaani 2," will not be available for shooting of remaining part of Sujoy Ghosh directed thriller for at least one month.
The Mumbai muncipal authorities on Friday issued notice to Balan's former boyfriend and actor Shahid Kapoor over mosquito breeding. Balan and Kapoor live in same residential complex in Mumbai's posh Juhu locality.
"In a flat on the fourth floor, we found a Petri dish for plants and a tarpaulin on the terrace and an unused swimming pool in Kapoor's flat were found to be mosquito breeding spots. We have served notices to both of them," a Mumbai muncipal official said, Indian Express newspaper reported.
The "Udta Punjab" actor, on the other hand, expressed concerns over the mosquito breeding in the apartment complex. "Shahid is concerned about the findings of BMC in his building and the locality," Kapoor's spokesperson said in a statement issued to media, Firstpost reported. "Specially so with the presence of a new born baby in the house."
Balan, who was last seen in Amitabh Bachchan's "Te3n" movie, has been busy shooting for her next "Kahaani 2." Apart from "Kahaani 2", she will be also seen in Srijit Mukherji's "Begum Jaan." The "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" actress has also signed a Malayalam film - a Kamala Surrayya biopic.
