After the plagiarism controversy which greatly affected her career in 2015, South Korean superstar Yoon Eun Hye is now ready to make a major comeback in the Korean entertainment industry.
This announcement was revealed by the artist’s talent management agency Jarmy Entertainment on Sept. 17, All Kpop reported. According to the company, Yoon is currently getting herself ready to entertain her Korean fans once again.
”A Korean comeback for the latter part of this year is unconfirmed but we are thinking of a comeback in early 2017. We are opening the possibility of dramas, movies, and a variety of areas,” Soompi quoted a reliable source as saying.
The source added: “We have not had discussions nor do we have specific plans regarding her comeback appearances in broadcast programs other than dramas and movies. However, we are planning for a comeback early next year. Although a Korean comeback this year might be difficult, it looks like Chinese activities will continue.”
Yoon, 31, made her way to the entertainment industry in 1999 after joining the girl group Baby V.O.X at the age of 15. She replaced the ex-member Lee Gai and became the band’s sub-vocal.
After signing up with the talent agency Eight Peak in 2005, Yoon became one of the lead characters of the hit TV drama series “Princess Hours”. In the series, she portrayed the role of Shin Chae Kyung alongside actor Ju Ji Hoon who played as crowned prince Lee Shin.
Some of Yoon’s popular drama series includes “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, “My Fair Lady”, “Missing You” and “Marry Him If You Dare”. She also won major awards in prestigious recognition bodies like 18th Huading Awards, Baeksang Arts Awards, and much more.
