Renowned cosmetic brand Laneige has recently revealed some of South Korean actress’ sultry shots for their lipstick line’s campaign “Her True Colors.”
In the released photos, the 34-year-old actress confidently showcased her exquisite and striking face as she wears several types of Laneige lipstick on. In one of the shots, Song carried out a fierce pose matched with clean-cut make up and bold red lip color.
Song has been the brand’s ambassador since 2008. Aside from the Laneige, she is also the endorser of various popular brands including Levi's Lady Style, Etude House, Conway, Olay, LG, and many more.
Meanwhile, the Hallyu star has recently went to Utoro Village in Japan together with Professor Seo Kyung Duk of Sungshin Women's University in celebration of Korea’s Independence day, All Kpop reported. She and the teacher donated a total of 10,000 brochures in Korean language containing historical information about the village.
In the past, Song and Professor Seo have also been to various countries to promote the Korean language. The country includes New York, China, and so on.
Song started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 14 after winning the Smart Model Contest of a clothing brand in 1996. She later rose to fame after award-winning her portrayals in TV drama series including “Autumn in My Heart”, “All In”, “Full House”, and “The World That They Live In”.
Despite her popularity, the actress still remained humble. In an interview by a magazine, she confessed that her life is really not different to other people who are a celebrity like her.
“There isn’t much of a difference in my everyday life. When I’m not acting or working, I’m just at home eating and sleeping with disheveled hair… If there’s anything different as a result of being Song Hye Kyo, it’s that I get discounts at restaurants and extras for free,” Song said as quoted by Soompi.
On the other hand, Song’s hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun” alongside actor Song Joong Ki has made noise in various Asian countries this year. Because of the show, she earned recognitions like the Most Popular Actress in TV award and iQiyi Special Award at the 52nd Baeksang Arts Awards.
