Niantic Lab's hit augmented reality game "Pokemon Go" is ever growing with updates and new content. Now, fans would get to enjoy Generation 2 of mobile gaming app.

Generation 2 will be arriving soon, with 100 more Pokemon and that already includes the rare and possibly the legendary ones. The original generation already had 150 Pokemon and with a 100 more unique pocket monsters, players would be even more excited adding more to their collection.

According to Yibada, once the update is released, there will be new addition to the Pokedex such as the next evolutions of Golbat, Gloom, Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Onix, Chansey, Seadra, Scyther, Eevee and Porygon. The next evolutionary stages are Crobat, Bellossom, Politoed, Slowking, Steelix, Blissey, Kingdra, Scizor, Espeon, Umbreon and Porygon 2, to name a few.

Also gracing their appearances from the previous hand held games such as such as "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" are Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sentret, Hoothoot, Ledyba, Spinarak, Chinchoi, Pichu, Togepo and Marill.

Along with the aforementioned pocket monsters, the update is rumored to also have baby Pokemon, with an egg hatching feature to be on the way. One example of this is Pikachu's baby sibling, Pichu. While this is only a rumor, Niantic has yet to confirm this feature.

Players can also take advantage of the Candies for their Pokemon, which are used to progress and power them up.  IGN has a chart to help trainers on the right amount of Candies needed to evolve their pocket monsters.

With all these new Pokemon introduced, it is still not yet known, however, on how the Legendary Pokemon will be introduced. As of now, the Legendaries might not be released first until the game is released in countries like China, India and South Korea that haven't received it.

In other news, Android and iOS users are ready to receive the latest version of "Pokemon Go." The features include the Buddy System, along with some bug fixes. The update, however, will not work on rooted Android and jailbroken iOS devices.
