Recent trade rumors have suggested of a Chris Bosh for Kevin Love deal between the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers as things look bleaker for LeBron James' former teammate in South Florida.
The 32-year-old Bosh, who was the only one who remained in Miami's fabled championship Big Three together James and Dwyane Wade, is still not cleared to play in the upcoming season and is rumored to be getting frustrated by it.
Miami is being cautious about not allowing Bosh to play while taking blood-thinning medications, but the two-time NBA champion had reasoned out that he is not the sole athlete that played with it in history.
Still, he was not given clearance to suit up for the Heat with only weeks away from the start of the new season.
Fansided reported that "history is against Bosh ever playing in the NBA again", but that the 11-time NBA All-Star "has a doctor that will clear him", which means there is a possibility that he could resume his professional basketball career with another team if the Heat will not allow him.
The report then questioned that "what if there's another team out there that would be willing to clear him? What if that team was the Cleveland Cavaliers?" and then specifically mentioned Kevin Love as the trade piece involved in exchange for the former Georgia Tech standout.
Sportsrageous indicated that Bosh and his camp "remains frustrated" about the stalemate in Miami and could be considering to jump ship to another squad if the Heat does not give in. And what better team should he join than the one where his former championship buddy is.
From a basketball standpoint, "Bosh is actually a better fit for the Cleveland Cavaliers than Kevin Love is", Fansided said, and is a "better defender, better post presence, and has been through the battles with LeBron before".
Above all, Bosh is proven to know how to adjust being the third option in a team without declining his stats too much, which would be good news for Cleveland as Love has never done that for them.
Meanwhile, Miami will also get a fair return for Bosh in receiving Love. After all, Pat Riley and the Heat may also be eager to move on from the Chris Bosh-saga and get on with their youth revolution.
However, no matter how perfect this deal may be, if Cleveland doctors are also on the same page with Miami doctors about not clearing Bosh, then a trade would be impossible to happen.
