When "Once Upon A Time" returns, viewers will find Regina and Emma on a mission to find happy endings in Storybrooke.
In addition to battling new villains and facing the characters from the Land of the Untold Stories, one of the main goals of Regina and Emma on "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 is to help out Storybrooke residents go out there and find their happy endings. Executive producer Eddy Kitsis recently revealed to TV Guide that this storyline will also help Regina distract herself from grieving over the death of Robin. As for Emma, she will play a major role in being the "Savior" in the new installment.
"She's clearly very much grieving Robin and we're going to see that in the premiere," Kitsis told the publication
"Hyde hinted last year that there are people in the Land of Untold Stories whose stories haven't played out. We're going to find ourselves in a situation where Mayor Regina and Savior Emma are going to have to help a whole bunch of people find their happy endings as well."
As Emma and Regina join forces, Captain Hook will be taking on a grittier path on "Once Upon A Time Season 6. Co-showrunner Adam Horowitz recently previewed that Colin O'Donoghue's character will juggle his relationship with Emma as well as his journey to redemption in the new bunch of episodes.
"Last year we saw Emma saying I love you to him when they weren't in any sort of danger," Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly.
"Hook is excited to progress that relationship. At the same time, he is on his path of redemption, and we are going to see Hook doing his best to be heroic this year."
"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8PM on ABC.
