South Korean actress Park Shin Hye, EXO band member Do Kyung-soo and theater veteran Jo Jung-suk recently wrapped up filming of "Hyung."

The filming of the movie wrapped up end-December, with the staff and lead stars in a cheery mood despite their exhaustion. Not even the nippy Seoul winter weather and weariness of the cast and crew could dampen the happy atmosphere on the movie set. Post-production work is expected to last the next several months, Soompi reported.

Park Shin Hye, a multiple award-winning actress who also starred in the high-grossing film "Miracle in Cell No. 7," developed rapport with her "Hyung" male co-stars.

The last quarter of the year was a busy one for the "Stairway to Heaven" and "The Heirs" actress. Nonetheless, the fresh-faced hallyu star expressed that there were many fun and light-hearted moments on the set of "Hyung."

"Hyung" delves on the heartwarming story of two brothers forced by circumstances to live apart for 15 years, then meet and stay together again.

In "Hyung," the sought-after Korean actress plays a judo coach who keeps squabbling with the older brother portrayed by "Oh My Ghost" actor Jo Jung-suk.

In an interview with KpopFighting, Park Shin Hye said she was glad to have the opportunity to work with her male co-stars, who became close on the set.

Incidentally, "Hyung" scriptwriter Yu Young-A was among the scriptwriters of Park Shin Hye's blockbuster film "Miracle in Cell No. 7."

At the directorial helm of "Hyung" is Kwon Soo-kyung, whose works include "Barefoot Ki-bong" (Maenbal-ui Kibong-i).

Apart from immersing herself in the filming of "Hyung," the hallyu star was also busy with modelling and fashion pictorial shoots, such as that for Elle Korea.

Park Shin Hye's femininity and sophistication has made her a favorite image model of international fashion houses like Bruno Magli.

As for Do Kyung-soo, the official Twitter page of OneHallyu for D.O. tweeted that the popular singer will lend his voice to an animation movie entitled "Underdog."

The EXO vocalist just marked his 23rd birthday. Park Shin-hye, on the other hand, will turn 26 in February.
